How I survived my weekend is a miracle but before I even get into that, I cannot let this day go by without commenting that it marks the one-year anniversary of my second (and best!) marathon!
I don’t think I’ve ever done this on my blog, but today I’m going to postpone the “current” post in favor of “featuring” a past post (or posts, in this case). If you haven’t read the story of my second marathon, I would really love it if you would take a moment to go do so. It’ll take a while, but I promise it’s worth it. There is just so much good about that event, I honestly don’t think you could read it and not feel happier and just generally uplifted when you’re done. 😀 As a former journalism student, I am not too proud to say that I think it’s a great read, and I honestly feel that I might write it up in a publishable format and send it to Runner’s World one day. 🙂
Meanwhile, back in 2016, I’m still working on the post about my insane hockey/lacrosse/baseball/War of 1812 weekend. (Yes, I did say War of 1812.) I’ll
put that one up tomorrow, with lots of pictures!!
Thanks so much for reading (and dare I say indulging me? 😉 )!
I cried the first time I read your posts and just now cried again!
Aw, thanks, Meg!! <3 Still my favorite race ever!! Which is pretty impressive since it was 26 miles of hard work, lol! 😉
