I just want to apologize in advance for the posts that are going to come across your newsfeed here in the next day or so. I really like this new theme I found, but I’ve discovered a few unpleasant side effects as it relates to feedreaders (like Bloglovin, which is the one I use). Namely, these two:
- The post is truncated after just a few lines on the reader. Though I understand why some will force-truncate, I personally like to be able to read an entire post on Bloglovin, so I figure it’s a nice gesture for me to allow it on my site.
- The featured image isn’t showing! Grrrrrr…that’s not nice. Images are the most important part of my posts!!
So, for the next day or so, I’ll probably be posting a bunch of tiny posts with a few pictures to test out the settings on this theme as I change them. If I can’t get it to work, I may have to find another theme. (Boo hoo.)
Thanks for your patience! I promise to try to include pictures worth viewing, at least! 🙂 The picture on this post is from April 2011, just a few months after I got my DSLR, and it was just a pretty field of pansies I saw on my way to pick up my youngest son from daycare. I was having a lot of fun playing with my camera back then! I wasn’t necessarily very skilled, though, lol!
