I am still in the middle of hockey team photos (and other photos!), but I wanted to give everyone a heads up…if you enjoy my blog (and I hope you do!), you may want to bookmark this direct link:
www.thatloudredhead.com/tlr
This is because, as of later this week, the root URL (thatloudredhead.com) will no longer auto-redirect to the blog. In case you’re wondering why, it’s because I’ve finally decided to take the leap and start a little photography business! 🙂 The reasons for that will be explained in a future post, but for now, you may just want to make sure you keep that link handy.
If you follow me via a blog feed (and bless you for that!), the links will be fine. It’s just the main URL that will be changing. (Speaking of blog feed readers, I’m curious to know which ones people use most frequently. If you wouldn’t mind posting in the comments which reader you use, it will help me go through and ensure that my site is set up correctly for as many of them as possible. )
I’ll be back in a few days, when the pictures are done. Not that the pictures are ever actually done… 😉
Thank you so much for reading and supporting my blog!!
PS: The feature photo is my adorable “second shooter,” my son JJ. I asked him to hold my camera for me while I went to the bathroom when taking pictures of Jamie’s hockey game, and I came back to find him taking pictures! 😮 He begged me to let him continue…so I think I have a future action photographer on my hands! 😉
Congratulations on starting your own photography business! The photos you post are terrific, you have an excellent eye and a real talent; I wish you lots of success with your new venture!!!
I don’t use a blog feed, I have your blog bookmarked.
Thank you for the kind words, Cindy! I’m nervous but I’ve gotten a lot of support and encouragement from
friends, so I feel like it’s time, lol! Thanks for taking the time to comment!
I use bloglovin! Congrats on your new venture! As gorgeous as your pictures are, I have no doubt that you will have plenty of success with it! <3
Thanks for replying, and thank you so much for the support, Des!
